Tree plantation at Pakistan Sweet Homes

First MicroFinanceBank HODs handing over the cheque to the Pakistan Sweet Homes’ director Abdul Wahid Babar

On 15 October 2018, The First MicroFinanceBank Ltd. initiated a tree plantation drive at Pakistan Sweet Homes, Islamabad. During activity, FMFB employees volunteered and planted over 50 trees as part of their commitment to promote environment protection in Pakistan. In line with FMFB’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the bank also made valuable cash donation worth Rs. 50,000 to the orphans and vulnerable children living at Pakistan Sweet Homes.

In Pakistan Sweet Homes, apart from the visitation, plantation and cash donation, staff of the bank also presented UBBA (Umeed Bunyaadi Bachat Account) gifts to children to inculcate the habit of saving in the young generation.
