FIRST Pay – Branchless Banking Services

FIRST Pay is a Branchless Banking initiative of FMFB to facilitate the goal of financial inclusion and remove the bottle necks involved in opening and maintaining a conventional bank account. This is a comprehensive customer oriented solution through which customers are on boarded remotely and also through branches.

FIRST Pay Wallet Types & Limits

All Pakistanis having CNIC are eligible for opening of FIRST Pay Wallet in any of the following levels; however Pakistanis who are Tax residents of other countries will not be eligible for FIRST Pay wallet:

1. FIRST Pay Mobile Application

FIRST Pay is FMFB’s mobile application for branchless banking customers. Through this application customer can remotely open a branchless banking account with FMFB. Customer can also conveniently perform banking transaction round the clock on the go. This application is available for both android and IOS users.

Services

Customer can avail both financial and Non-Financial services through this application. These services include;

Financial Services
  • Fund Transfer (Own bank i.e. to FMFB account/wallet & Inter Bank Fund Transfer)
  • Load balance from linked conventional account
  • Mobile Top ups (load balance for your Mobilink, Telenor, Zong, Warid, Ufone  mobile number)
  • Utility Bill Payments (Gas, Water, electricity, School, College, University, Careem, 1 Bill)
  • Request money from other FIRST Pay Mobile Application user
  • Book Cinema, Transport, Air and Event tickets through application
  • Avail 50,000 plus discounts all over Pakistan through QR reader
  • Avail My Bills services to view previously paid bills and pay again on due date without hassle of entering consumer numbers and other details
  • Utilize Donations services to Donate for Prime Minister Diamir Basha Dam and COVID-19 Relief Funds

  • Balance Inquiry to view current available balance
  • Statement- View account statement for last one month
  • Quick Pay- Add an account as beneficiary and transfer fund without entering account details again
  • Lodge dispute against some transaction from statement of account to avoid hassle of visiting branch, telephonic calls or written communications

2. FIRST Pay Debit Card

FMFB is offering FIRST Pay Debit card to its branchless banking wallet customers to withdraw cash from any FMFB FIRST ATM as well as 1Link ATM within Pakistan. This card allows the customers to do shop hassle free and cashless, while all the transaction details can be viewed with the mobile App or through SMS Alerts. You can access your account 24/7 with FIRST Pay Debit Card.

  • PIN generation/change at any FIRST ATM

How to Get FIRST Pay Debit Card
Customers can request for FIRST Pay Debit card through FIRST Wallet mobile application with a choice of delivery to branch or Home delivery. Turnaround time for Debit card delivery is 15 working days.

3. AMA

Asaan Mobile Banking (AMA) is a USSD based channel through which FMFB customers can open branchless banking account by clicking *2262# and perform transactions. This channel does not require any smart phone, mobile data or specific telecom operator for its operations.

Customer can avail both financial and Non-Financial services through this application. These services include;

  • Registration-Register and open Level 0 account though conventional phone/ smartphone without any data connectivity
  • Account Linking- Link existing FMFB wallet account and make transactions
  • Balance Inquiry- View your account balance
  • Mini Statement- View last transactions through mini statement
  • Account Closure- Close account permanently by availing in application service
Financial Services
  • Balance Inquiry from any FIRST ATM / 1-Link ATM
  • Mini Statement from any FIRST ATM
  • Local Funds Transfer- Perform fund transfer transaction to other FMFB account/wallet
  • Inter Bank Funds Transfer- Perform inter fund transfer transaction to other FMFB account/wallets

Other Services offered through Branchless Banking

  • Cash In/ Cash Deposit- For Cash deposits customer can visit nearest authorized FMFB branch/agent
  • Cash Out/ Cash Withdrawal- For Cash withdrawal customer will visit nearest FMFB branch/agent
  • Account Level Upgrade- Customer can upgrade account from level 0 to level 1 after performing biometric verification at branch.
